HKC SecureHub: A complete alarm solution

If you are a small business owner and you are looking for an easy-to-manage intruder alarm system, and would also like to protect your home, the recently launched HKC SecureHub could help.

The grade 2 wireless alarm panel integrates with its cloud platform so you can access and manage your alarm system via its SecureComm smartphone app. Additionally, we can support you remotely. The alarm panel ensures it stays connected by being equipped with integrated 4G/LTE radio. However, for added reliability the panel includes Wi-Fi and Ethernet for backup communication to the SecureComm platform. To get you started we can offer a HKC SecureHub kit which includes the intruder alarm panel along with a RF touch keypad, a mini contact sensor and four PIR detectors.

We recently installed the SecureHub at a rural property in Worcester in order to secure a cottage and outbuildings. The cottage needed protecting as it is currently not being lived in. We have installed the SecureHub kit along with additional sensors.

The main property, and the surrounding land, are on a building site so could be vulnerable to intrusion. As the property owner is not always on site, it is really important that the security system can be managed  remotely. The SecureComm app is therefore invaluable as it allows users to set and unset the alarm and well as to receive notifications if the alarm is triggered or there are technical problems.

The alarm panel can support up to 70 wireless devices so we can build a complete intruder alarm system. Detectors that can be connected include Contact/Inertia Sensors, PIRs, Smoke, Heat & CO (carbon monoxide) sensors, and panic buttons.

As a NSI Gold-certified company we would always design an intruder alarm system based on your bespoke requirements. We would therefore ensure you have the correct number and type of sensors to protect your property correctly and meet the requirements of your insurer.

Once installed we would ensure you are set up on the SecureComm app which gives you the ability to set and unset your alarm, including full setting or just part-setting the system, and receiving notifications of when alarms are activated.

To give you peace of mind we can offer a range of support and maintenance contracts. If anything goes wrong our engineers can access the system and will aim to fix faults remotely. However, if necessary, we will come on-site to fix issues and customers have annual maintenance visits. If it is required by the nature of the property or the insurance company, we can provide remote 24/7 monitoring via our alarm receiving centre (ARC).

We only offer solutions once we have tested them and are certain they fulfil our aim of offering only the highest quality intruder alarm systems. We believe HKC’s SecureHub offers a cost-effective solution that does not compromise the high standards of Ecl-ips. If you want to know more, contact us.
