HALO Amplify: supporting building protection

Monitoring your premises and protecting people and important items or possessions has got a lot of easier with the development of HALO Amplify. This allows up to 30 Bluetooth-enabled sensors to be wirelessly connected to each HALO Smart Sensor 3C or 3C-PC on your network.

HALO Amplify’s Connected Sensor Suite is designed to help protect people and property in schools, commercial offices, hospitals, hotels, and rental properties. The sensors extend the security, health, and situational awareness of the HALO Smart Sensor 3C or 3C-PC devices.

The HALO Amplify sensors includes:

  • Amplify iPanic: An easy-to-use double-push panic button that integrates seamlessly with HALO Smart Sensor 3C/ 3C-PC. This could support staff in education, retail, healthcare and hospitality, as well as providing an alert button for patients in hospitals.
  • Amplify people counting: This enables monitoring of people count, dwell time, motion and line crossing. It could be of use in schools as an early warning of potential bullying or fights or excessive occupancy detection in rental properties.
  • Amplify open door and window: This can be used to trigger alerts when doors or windows are opened. Time-specific notifications can be configured, for example on weekends or before and after hours so can support security in schools and other buildings.
  • Amplify temperature & humidity: this will detect temperature changes in the range -35˚C to 70˚C) and 0 to 99% relative humidity. This can support environmental monitoring for comfort, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) integration, and energy management. It could support public libraries, for example, retaining the quality of their books.
  • Amplify water leak: this can be used to detect the presence of water in spaces such as bathrooms and laundry facilities. This could provide early detection of HVAC and plumbing failures in rented properties and vandalism in public toilets.

The sensors are all battery-powered apart from the people counting sensor which requires a 5V or 12V power supply. All the sensor and event data is made available in real-time via HALO Cloud dashboards, the HALO Cloud App, HALO device web interface and via third-party integrations.

The HALO Amplify sensor suite provides the same level of privacy protection that all HALO devices do. The devices operate without the use of video or audio recording and never captures any personally identifiable information. This makes the solution ideal for use in areas like changing rooms, public and school toilets as well as healthcare settings and hotel rooms.

We are well-established in providing real-time monitoring solutions to a range of sectors and have been supplying the HALO Smart Sensors to schools, primarily for vape detection, since 2022. If you want to know more about how the HALO Amplify solution could support you, please contact us.
