Ecl-ips has bought Bristol-based company, Security Group, which had been family run since 1996. Security Group specialises in the installation of intruder alarm systems complimenting the expertise Ecl-ips has in CCTV and access control solutions.
Like Ecl-ips, Security Group had built up a reputation for the quality and professionalism of its services. Security Group and Ecl-ips engineers are fully trained and security screened. Security Group is registered with Security Systems and Alarms Inspection Board (SSAIB) while Ecl-ips gained Gold approval from the National Security Inspectorate (NSI) last year providing all our customers with confidence in our services.
Security Group designs, installs, maintains and repairs intruder alarms and fire alarm systems, that are all certified to BS EN50131, BS 8243 and PD6662 standards. The latter standard is an ‘umbrella’ standard for the application of European standards by installers in the design, installation, commissioning and maintenance of intruder and hold-up alarm systems. This gives added peace of mind since these alarms then comply to Association of Chief Police Officers policy and meet SSAIB and NSI requirements.
The Ecl-ips team are specialists in CCTV and access control, as well as real-time and power monitoring solutions. The Ecl-ips preferred partners are Avigilon, Paxton and APC, part of Schneider Electric. Security Group and Ecl-ips customers will gain from our combined expertise and we will be able to offer new and existing clients a comprehensive security and safeguarding solution. Lisa Gill and engineer, Ervin Garam, have remained with Security Group following the purchase, otherwise the company is now led by Ecl-ips Managing Director, Aaron Kernaghan, along with Operations Director, Darren Roe, and Chief Engineer, Stephen Gilbert.
