Ecl-ips is now offering its Avigilon Control Center (ACC) clients the opportunity to use Avigilon Cloud Services (ACS) which make it incredibly easy to remotely access your CCTV footage.
A number of our clients are already using ACS. The process to switch to ACS is simple as no special user, firewall configuration or complicated network changes are required. Connecting ACC sites to the cloud also allows organisations with multiple locations to centralise access to their ACC sites securely from a browser or mobile device.
Avigilon Cloud Services available for users of ACC 7.4
There is no additional software cost as long as you have ACC 7.4 or a higher version of the video management software installed. It is an included entitlement under any host licensed under an ACC edition – standard, core or enterprise.
By cloud-connecting now, customers will benefit from continuous innovation as Avigilon adds features like centralised system health monitoring and maintenance services.
ACS allows you to use a Chrome or safari browser to access camera lists, view live and recorded video, control PTZ movements, export snapshots and video on MP4 format. Users have the ability to access both their camera views and bookmark views.
Available to use with ACC Mobile 3
ACS can also be used with the ACC Mobile 3 app. This provides timely and proactive responses to analytic alarms sent from ACC software as push notifications to the ACC Mobile 3 app. This app is available from the Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
Ecl-ips is a well-established Avigilon partner and specialists in its ACC software system. We also take the time to test Avigilon developments and software upgrades before we promote to new and existing clients.
Take full advantage of the latest software upgrade
The latest software upgrade was to ACC 7.6 and this offered improved facial recognition technology and the ability for those operating the CCTV system within a school or other organisation to identify a person that is believed to be a threat and to add a picture of them to a watch list.
When the CCTV cameras pick up an image that provides a face match against the watch list, the security operators will receive a notification so that they can take proactive measures to assess the situation and ensure the safety of students, staff or other members of the public.
Additionally, ACC 7.6 features unusual motion detection analytics that provide site-wide intelligence with the ability to recognise unusual activity such as the speed of movement or location of people or vehicles.
