We are excited that we have had three recruits joining our team in recent weeks helping us support our customers better.

Our operations team has been bolstered by the appointment of Leanne Gough as our Business Administrator working with Angela Price, Business Operations Manager. Meanwhile we have had two recruits, Joe Newey and Tom Clark, who have become part of the engineer team under Project Engineering Manager, David Harris.

Striving to be the best so we can provide excellent customer support

Leanne CroppedLeanne will be helping to continue our high standard of customer service and ensuring our office support is functioning effectively.

She has joined us from the insurance industry where she worked for 17 years. Leanne began in customer services where she continued for five years. She then progressed into accounts where she became a senior team leader for insurer broker accounts. She was then the go-to person to help and support staff.

Over her career Leanne has completed a Level 2 NVQ in Business and Administration; City & Guilds Level 2 and 3 in bookkeeping and an AAT Level 2 in accounting as well as additional courses to help her career development.

She said: “I am someone that likes to take any opportunity to develop myself and skill set to strive and be the best possible me.”

Outside of work she enjoys spending time with family and friends and cooking. She has two boys so her weekends are normally filled with football, park time and the occasional bike ride.

Joe’s passion for his work will help us deliver projects more effectivelyJoe Pic

Joe has joined as a Project Engineer, having qualified in fire and security last summer, after three years of study at college. Although just 22 years old, he has already worked in the industry for five years.

He joins at a time when we have some large projects underway so he has been deployed on site quickly. However, this has not fazed Joe who said he was, “loving every second of my new journey.”

He added: “I am very passionate about my work and always looking to help others if I can.”

In his spare time Joe indulges his love of football, playing every Saturday as a goalkeeper for a local team and watching the game as a Birmingham City supporter.

Joe is also a foodie and also loves travelling. He said he enjoys “exploring and visiting unique places all around the world.”

Tom is keen to establish a career in the security industry

Tom Pic 1Tom is our youngest employee, aged 20, who has joined as a Trainee Project Engineer. He arrived having had a variety of jobs previously which gave him a good foundation for his new role.

He has been a fire technician, undertaking an electrical installation Level 3 course; worked laying and maintaining gas pipes, where he achieved a GNO1 qualification and, most recently, he was a loft insulation installer, completing a NVQ loft installation course.

However, Tom decided he wanted to follow a more technical career path and that the security industry would be a good fit. He found out about the opportunities at Ecl-ips via the power of LinkedIn when he asked for support in finding a new role.

Ecl-ips is always happy to assist their employees with training and all new recruits will be supported so they can do their job better. As well as carrying out desk-based learning Tom has quickly got stuck in with the practical side of learning on the job and supporting our large projects.

On the lookout for Project Engineers

These recruits will ensure we can support our customers more effectively. However, we are always on the lookout for the right people to join our project engineer team. If you are an experienced security engineer, ideally located near Bromsgrove in Worcestershire, please get in touch.
