Angela is passionate about her role within the company and always strives to deliver the best possible service to our customers.
She has been a key part of ensuring the expansion of Ecl-ips has run smoothly by ensuring we have better systems for our customer relations management and engineer job records as well as instilling strong quality control throughout our work.
She has spent most of her career within business operations roles, which include sales, purchasing and finance; giving her a good understanding of back-office operations. This puts her in a great position to support the smooth running of our business.
Angela says she enjoys her role here at Ecl-ips, as the variety allows her to be involved in most aspects of a project end to end. During her day- to-day tasks Angela aims to review and question processes to ensure the workflow is efficient and effective.
She joined Ecl-ips in August 2018 and works closely with Managing Director Aaron Kernaghan, and Operations Director Darren Roe to ensure the sales and work processes run smoothly as well as making sure all our financial records are kept in order. Angela has been instrumental in making our office as paperless as possible, which saves us money as well as being more environmentally-friendly.
She worked hard with Darren to help us improve our systems and working practices so we could gain our National Security Inspectorate (NSI) Gold accreditation in August 2019 which also demonstrates our compliance with the BS EN ISO 9001:2015 Standard.
While 2020 will be remembered for the first Coronavirus (COVID-19) lockdown starting in March, when Angela had to juggle working and home-schooling her younger son, the acquisition of Security Group in August brought even greater challenges. We were faced with the huge task of bringing Security Group’s customer records and financial accounts, up to then largely paper-based, into the 21st century. Angela worked diligently and conscientiously to get this completed as well as communicating with Security Group clients about the change of ownership.
Security Group specialised in intruder alarm systems and many of its customers are residential which is different from Ecl-ips which has predominantly commercial clients. However, Angela’s efficiency and good telephone manner mean these Security Group clients continue to be offered excellent customer service.
In her spare time, Angela enjoys spending time with family and friends, organising social events, cooking and walking.
