The advanced capabilities of the Avigilon Edge solution network video recorder appliance, the ENVR2 Plus mean your legacy non-analytical IP cameras, can be connected so that you do not lose out on the latest analytics within its Avigilon Control Center (ACC) software.

Part of the Avigilon Unity on-premise suite of products the ENVR2 Plus 8-port appliance is ideal for medium to large organisations. It is the first to include the full range of Avigilon’s advanced ACC analytics while being 20% smaller than its predecessor.  Take a look at what’s in the box when you purchase the ENVR2 Plus in this video.

Security operators can perform faster and more accurate searches for a person of interest or object using Appearance Search on any camera, including third-party cameras, as long as they are ONVIF-compliant. Each appliance can support up to eight cameras.

This means while you may want to upgrade your cameras going forward to take advantage of all the features of Avigilon H5A range you can take a staged approach to CCTV improvements. Additionally, we can offer Avigilon encoders which will extend the life of analogue cameras so you can have all your security footage on one digital platform. Key Analytics Features

Appearance Search: This gives you the ability to quickly locate a specific person or vehicle of interest across an entire site. You can initiate a search for a person by selecting certain specific physical descriptions, including clothing colour and gender, to find a person of interest.

When time is of the essence, this means you can quickly respond to an incident sending in security or other staff to deal with the person in question if appropriate.

Facial Recognition: Avigilon’s facial recognition technology allows you to create multiple watch lists and you can upload photographs to add an individual to a watch list.  Avigilon have also added watch list profiles that can be created using an uploaded image in addition to a snapshot from recorded video or an Avigilon Appearance Search result.

Classified Object Detection (COD): This is the ability to classify more than 50 objects. The analytics capability means it can pick out people as well as types of vehicles including cars, lorries, buses, motorcycles and bicycles. COD enhances the power of appearance search even further.

License Plate Recognition: Avigilon LPR analytics automatically reads number plate information from vehicles, linking it to live and recorded video. This enables security operators to search and quickly find specific captured licence plate video for verification and investigation. Within ACC7 number plates detected and matched against an LPR Watch List are now shown as events in Focus of Attention for easier review.

Additionally, you are able to connect your CCTV system to Avigilon Cloud Services so that you can manage your security remotely. For added convenience, the ACC Mobile 3 Preview app delivers self-monitoring mobile video surveillance features and direct mobile access to all ES appliances. The app is available for download from the App Store and the Google Play Store.

ACC licenses must be purchased separately for each camera that you connect to this camera. To use Avigilon Appearance Search and facial recognition the Enterprise version of the ACC software is required.

We are a well-established Avigilon partner and offer its full range of NVRs including the AI NVR, all versions of Avigilon’s fourth-generation NVRs and now the two ES NVR options, ENVR1 and the ENVR2 Plus.
