Security and threat management specialist Ecl-ips is looking forward to welcoming those who will be teeing off on 8th July 2019 at Edwards Trust’s annual Golf Day. Bromsgrove-based Ecl-ips is sponsoring the event being held at Warwickshire Golf and Country Club which will raise money for the charity which provides holistic family bereavement services across the West Midlands.
Providing supporting in 30th Anniversary Year
The Golf Day has been organised over the past 10 years by the Edward’s Trust ambassador Richard Page who has raised over £100,000 to date. This year he plans to put on the best Golf Day yet in the charity’s 30th Anniversary year. Edward’s Trust was set up in 1989 by Peter and Hilary Dent in memory of their son Edward, who died aged 7 of cancer at Birmingham Children’s Hospital.
There will be individual and team prizes for those taking part in the Golf Day as well as great auction and raffle prizes so it should be the perfect day out for any keen golfer. Ecl-ips hopes all the golfers have a fantastic day on the course and raise lots of money for Edward’s Trust.
Edward’s Trust provides support to bereaved, or about to bereaved parents. It also supports children and young people of school age who are bereaved, or are about to be bereaved, of a parent, significant carer or sibling. A ‘Wellbeing in Bereavement’ service includes complementary therapies and respite bereavement care for bereaved parents and carers.
