We are really pleased to welcome Adam Chambers to our operations team as our newest project engineer.
With our current ongoing large-scale projects Adam has joined at just the right time and has quickly got stuck in working on-site with our other engineers. Adam said it has been an unexpected journey into the security industry having joined a rival system installer at the beginning of last year. However, there he realised he had found his niche.
“I’ve found a real passion for it”, he said.
Adam said he is “an approachable, people person who’s great at building customer relations whilst completing work to the highest standards.”
Prior to joining the security industry, he worked in debt collection, followed by an 18-month stint at a medical equipment maintenance, repair and management company.
Outside of work, the last few years have been busy. He, and his partner Beth, bought their first house in 2020, which was not the best timing due to the COVID-19 lockdowns! They are now expecting their second baby at the end of October.
Despite the growing family, Adam said they still try to make time to see their family and friends, and love nothing more than taking short holidays around the country.
Additionally, he plays the drums, videogames, and describes himself as a Cat Dad.
We will be ensuring that Adam becomes knowledgeable in all the advanced systems we provide including Avigilon CCTV solutions, intruder alarms from HKC and Orisec, and access control from Avigilon and Paxton Access.
We are really pleased that Adam has joined the Ecl-ips team but we are still on the lookout for a project engineer for our subsidiary, Security Group. You will need to be in easy driving distance of Bristol, where most of its residential and commercial customers are located. However, you will also need to be prepared to join the Ecl-ips engineers on their projects as required. So, if like Adam, security system installation is your passion, please get in touch.
