We are pleased to welcome Peter Coughlin to our team as business development manager. He is enthusiastic about demonstrating the benefits we can bring to your organisation through our advanced security, safeguarding and monitoring solutions.
Peter is an experienced business development and sales professional who has worked across a number of sectors including Fire and Security; IP networks; Telecommunications and most recently in the Construction industry. He will focus on providing you with solutions that are right for your organisation, taking you through the process from inception to commissioning stage, providing a single point of contact throughout.
Offering security and monitoring solutions in England and Wales
Peter, who lives in South Wales, will be working across England and Wales, to grow our business from our Worcestershire base in Stoke Prior, Bromsgrove. He will also be seeking to expand the reach of Security Group, the Bristol-based company we bought in 2020 that operates across the south-west of England and that offers advanced CCTV, access control, intruder alarms and monitoring solutions to that region.
Both Ecl-ips and Security Group can offer our solutions to the complete range of commercial, public sector, charitable and educational sectors. Our existing customers include both state and independent schools; we also have clients operating in manufacturing, retail and the audio-visual industry as well as large property owners and other homeowners.
Designing solutions at the start of a project will benefit you
We are excited about Peter’s experience of working with professionals from the beginning of a construction project, writing specifications for architects, smoothing the process through to contractors and project delivery. His knowledge of a range of sectors and his contacts within them also means we can take our security and monitoring technology to those industries to demonstrate the benefits we can bring.
With his experience Peter can ensure that we can design the right security and monitoring system for you at the start of a project, if required. By demonstrating our solutions to construction and property development firms, and others, Peter aims to show that the benefits of installing advanced CCTV, access control and intruder alarm systems so that the organisations that use those buildings have long lasting and effective security solutions into the future.
Ongoing support will ensure long-lasting systems
In addition, Peter will also be showing to prospective customers our competitive ongoing maintenance and support packages which provide superior after care which ensures that customers are aware of improvements in technology over time to improve their security systems. All of our customers are also provided with CCTV Logbook which means they can manage their CCTV assets and compliance more easily including scheduling reviews and maintenance checks so you keep on top of your security with ease.

Outside of work Peter enjoys spending time with his family, playing golf, 5 a side football and charity fundraising including organising a golf day and raffles for his golf society.
