Ecl-ips is pleased to welcome David Harris, our newest project engineer, who is keen to further his career in technology. He aims to be a big success at Ecl-ips and brings something new to our engineering team.
David has an extensive background in IT and AV, having worked as a field engineer for a major telecommunications company for almost 10 years. He has previously had experience in a number of engineering and managerial roles.
Putting the customer first
David joins Stephen Gilbert, senior engineer, and Adrian Waller, project engineer, at Ecl-ips. Together, working with the company’s directors, Aaron Kernaghan and Darren Roe, they are the main team installing and upgrading CCTV systems, power management and real-time monitoring devices and putting reliable access control systems in place.
David says he is passionate, has a methodical approach and takes pride in everything he does, ensuring that the customer is at the heart of all his decisions. This makes David an ideal addition to our team where assessing your needs, solving your challenges and providing integrated security and monitoring solutions is at the heart of what we do.
Being at the cutting edge of technology
Since starting out as an apprentice doing an HNC in mechanical engineering David has subsequently gained additional qualifications in IT. Offering the latest security solutions and being at the cutting edge of the technology is also key to what we offer customers so his willingness to continue to learn more should benefit you.
In his spare time David likes to travel and spend time with his family, he is also a keen sportsman, having represented England at two totally different sports: boxing and bowls.
