We are delighted that we have again achieved the NSI Gold certification from the National Security Inspectorate, proving that we comply with the highest industry standards when we install video surveillance, intruder alarm and access control systems.
To achieve NSI Gold, we also have to demonstrate that Ecl-ips operates a Quality Management System (QMS) and this QMS is compliant with the BS EN ISO 9001:2015 Standard. Implementing a QMS, as we have discovered, affects every aspect of an organisation’s performance.
It was a massive step for us when we first achieved the NSI Gold certification in 2019, having been a NSI Silver- certified installer since 2010. However, this is now the second time we have had a comprehensive audit and demonstrated consistently high standards in our work. Between the three-yearly renewals we also have biannual audits to ensure that standards are maintained.
We have found that implementing the QMS has led to us to continually monitor and manage quality across our business so we can identify areas for improvement. Meeting the NSI Gold certification is part of our commitment to constantly improving our business practices and offering an improved customer experience. It allows us to demonstrate to our clients that we adhere to the highest standards that we can in all areas of our business.
Our commitment to NSI certification has recently been reinforced with the appointment of our Managing Director, Aaron Kernaghan, to the role of Midlands Assistant Chairman, a position he will hold for the next two years. Aaron will also represent the Midlands on the NSI technical committee and ensuring the views of the NSI’s approved companies in the region are heard.
