Ecl-ips is proud to announce that the team has been recognised as a National Security Inspectorate (NSI) Gold approved company. Having become an NSI Silver approved firm in 2010 Ecl-ips, has complied with industry specific standards and have been subject to independent regular audit by NSI to monitor our continuing compliance with those standards.
Quality Management System implemented
To achieve NSI Gold, we also had to demonstrate that Ecl-ips operates a Quality Management System (QMS) and this QMS is compliant with the BS EN ISO 9001:2015 Standard. Implementing a QMS, as we have discovered, affects every aspect of an organisation’s performance.
The British Standards Institution (BSI) believes the ISO 9001 quality management system helps companies to continually monitor and manage quality across their businesses so we can identify areas for improvement.
An independent auditor spent several days with us checking our QMS and the audit included visiting external client sites to ensure all procedures were being followed correctly. The NSI Gold Approval, means our QMS is tuned to the specific needs of the security sector in which we operate. The NSI said this is as demanding as any Approval in the security and fire sectors in which it operates, and is recognised by industry, the police, fire and rescue services and insurers, and other stakeholders.
NSI Gold status provides reassurance to customers
It means that when companies and individuals choose Ecl-ips to provide their CCTV, access or server room monitoring solutions they have the reassurance that we are regularly audited by NSI to the latest standards, and will provide high quality security systems.
NSI audits require full compliance with standards including elements which are ‘recommended’ codes of best practice. This means customers can be sure of full compliance to standards, not simply lip service.
