Our Managing Director Aaron Kernaghan, has stepped up to take on a major role in the Midlands region of the National Security Inspectorate (NSI).
He has become the Regional Assistant Chairman and will represent the Midlands region on the NSI technical committee. In this role Aaron deputises for the Regional Chairman, Ian Ramsay, Managing Director of Coventry-based Clear Sound Fire & Security.
Aaron will also be supporting NSI’s approved companies in the Midland ensuring their views are heard, particularly in respect of technical issues. He will hold the Regional Assistant Chairman position for two years. In 2022 Aaron became an associate member of the prestigious Association of Security Consultants (ASC).
Regional meetings of NSI approved companies, like Ecl-ips, are held annually. They provide approved companies with technical knowledge and external speakers often attend to give advice on topics to help them grow their businesses.
We became an NSI Gold-approved company in August 2019 having been NSI Silver approved since 2010. We are now featured on the NSI website, where Aaron explains the benefits that NSI Gold certification brings and reflects our commitment to meeting the highest industry standards when we install intruder alarm, CCTV and access control systems.
To achieve NSI Gold certification we operate a Quality Management System compliant with the ISO 9001 Standard, which helps companies to continually monitor and manage quality across their businesses, so we can identify areas for improvement.
Aaron said in the NSI case study “Improved processes and reporting tools enable us to review our achievements and shortfalls, providing the opportunity to remedy issues before they impact our customers’ service and experience.”
To continue as a NSI Gold-certified company we are subject to bi-annual audits and three-yearly renewals, which demonstrates to customers that the standards are maintained.
The NSI is accredited by the United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS), which operates under a Memorandum of Understanding with the UK Government through the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy.
