Built with two lenses, the L6A captures vehicle data as the ANPR analytics are embedded in the camera. This increases awareness and provides analytical capabilities that go beyond the limitations of traditional ANPR or security cameras.
The camera captures number plates during the day and at night even from fast moving vehicles. The maximum capture speed is 100 miles per hour, while during the day plates can be captured from 100 metres (328 feet) away, and 76 metres (250 feet) away at night.
The L6A camera works with Avigilon’s on-premise Unity Video software. Avigilon Unity Video 8 uses the power of AI to improve the effectiveness of security teams by enhancing situational awareness and supporting them to react more quickly to incidents. If an incident does occur the L6A camera will be able to provide all the evidence needed, in both video and photographic form, to aid investigations.
