With the end of the lockdown on Wednesday 2nd December, and following the latest guidance Coronavirus (COVID-19) from the Government, we will continue to support you and to advise you on security solutions. Some staff are working from home and others are going to the office when necessary, or coming to you on site if required.
Like most of the country Ecl-ips, based in Worcestershire, is located in a Tier 2/high alert area. You are able to travel into Tier 3/very high alert areas, such as Warwickshire, Solihull and Birmingham, for work so we can support customers on site wherever they are based. If we do need to come to you, we will always work in a COVID-Secure manner by adhering to rules on social distancing and wearing masks if required.
Remote Monitoring can keep your premises secure
While all retail premises and other businesses, such as hairdressers, are open again and staff have returned to work, other companies, such as solicitors or accountants where most of the work is office-based, may decide that it is best to follow government advice and keep staff at home. This may mean some premises remaining empty for longer. If this is the case you may want to check that your intruder alarm, CCTV and access control systems are still working properly.
Remote monitoring of your business premises will make it easier to ensure that it remains secure without having to visit the site too often. If you not yet have remote monitoring for your CCTV, access control or intruder alarm systems then we can offer solutions to help.
Our preferred partner for CCTV is Avigilon which has developed an easy to use video management software, Avigilon Control Center, which can operate in a web browser via Avigilon Cloud Services as well as on mobile devices using ACC Mobile 3.
Additionally, electronic access control systems, such as Paxton Net2 software, are available as web-based versions which can be accessed remotely wherever you have an internet connection. These systems can be integrated with intruder alarms so can give you added peace of mind if you have had to lock up your business premises.
Both our preferred intruder alarm suppliers Orisec and HKC also have apps and cloud-based services so their intruder alarm systems can also be monitored wherever you are with an internet connection.
Solutions to help you to reduce COVID-19 transmission
We are all now seeing the light at the end of the pandemic tunnel with the news about effective vaccines and that vaccinating in the UK is beginning this month. However, this winter it seems we still need to be vigilant in order to mitigate the risks of COVID-19 transmission and we have a range of solutions from Paxton and Avigilon that can help.
Paxton has developed checkpoint control and occupancy management features within its Net2 software to support social distancing within buildings.
Avigilon’s solutions are:
- Avigilon’s H4 Thermal Elevated Temperature (ETD) solution
- Occupancy counting for premises
- Solutions to help enforce rules on social distancing and the wearing of face coverings
- Body-worn cameras which can support staff enforcing COVID-19 guidelines so they feel safer dealing with the public.
How we can help you
We are always available to chat to you about the solutions that can help you keep your premises safe and secure wherever you or we are working. So, if you need some advice on intruder alarms, CCTV or access control please do get in touch.
