Are you looking for an advanced monitoring solution for your server room or data centre that will protect against risks that could cause IT downtime that would damage your business continuity?

Ecl-ips prides itself on offering a full range of APC’s Netbotz real-time monitoring products which includes its latest monitoring device, the Netbotz 750.

The APC NetBotz Rack Monitor 750 is the first of the V5 Netbotz appliances providing integrated surveillance, sensing, access control, and advanced alerting for IT environments of all sizes, from single-rack edge networks to large data centres.

The Netbotz 750 includes an integrated suite of sensors, access control pods, and the newly introduced HD Camera Pod 165. The NetBotz Camera Pod 165 is an IP-based, power-over-ethernet (POE) camera managed by a NetBotz Rack Monitor 750, either plugged directly into the rack monitor’s private switch or discovered over the network to aid intrusion detection and help maintain compliance. Schneider Electric said the camera provides exceptional image quality even in low-light environments with Day/Night ICR technologies and features motion detection and small cube form factor.

Edge computing, which brings computation and data storage closer to the location where it is needed, to improve response times and save bandwidth, can increase the risks of water damage, high temperature & humidity, fire or other conditions which could bring down business-critical applications. Intentional or malicious access events not only threaten compute availability, but also leave companies vulnerable to costly compliance violations.

The NetBotz Rack Monitor 750 provides integrated sensing, surveillance, and traceable rack-access control to help mitigate these risks through a wide array of compatible sensors, camera clip capture storage and configurable alarming.

Meanwhile, for larger data centres, multiple NetBotz 750s can be managed through Schneider Electric’s StruxureWare Data Center Expert, which stores and organises camera clips. It also enables a single view of multiple cameras, rapid search and retrieval of video, and tagging of important clips to provide an audit trail of who has been accessing critical IT equipment. The expansive monitoring of the NetBotz 750 is easy to deploy, requiring only a single IP address and is managed through a browser.

Ecl-ips engineers are specialists in the APC Netbotz appliances and related software so if you want expert advice on advanced monitoring devices for your business please get in touch.
