Mobotix MxTalk December 2013 from Mobotix Chief Executive Officer Dr. Magnus Ekerot

The past few months have been quite eventful, both for the company and for me personally. I look forward to taking on more responsibility for the fate of the company in my new role as CEO of Mobotix and I hope to continue and build on the success we have enjoyed up to now. It goes without saying that our high-quality products have a key role to play. After two years of long and hard development work, we now have a unique system platform, based on which we have brought new products such as the M15 onto the market. We developed the M15 in close cooperation with you. We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your input! More new products are soon to follow with the x 25 series. This way, we will offer the latest Mobotix 5 megapixel (5MP) image sensor technology across all camera series.

A number of other new developments prove that we are constantly broadening our horizons. One advantage of this is that we are moving beyond the area of software and creating optimal solutions through combinations with high-quality hardware. The Mobotix Lowlight Exposure Optimization (MxLEO), our new firmware 4.1.10 and the improved Mobotix App are all great examples of this. It is clear that the right combination of the individual components – hardware and software, you as our partner and us as Mobotix – ultimately ensures mutual success. This cooperation works very well, as evidenced by our large number of national and international partners. We were delighted to welcome over 300 of you in Langmeil, Germany, in October and November. We look forward to a further strong and close cooperation with all of you – going forward!

The entire Mobotix team hopes you enjoy reading the December issue of “MxTalk” and we would like to take this opportunity to wish you a pleasant holiday season and a great start to the new year!
